A workday may combine a day rate, overtime rules, travel time, mileage, per diem, rentals, receipts, and client-specific invoice terms. Ops keeps those facts attached to the job instead of reconstructing them at invoice time.

Running beside the live system
Invoices v2 still holds my live business records. Ops uses a separate local database while I test the new job, ledger, and invoice model.
Keep the job intact
Time, travel, mileage, expenses, rates, invoice lines, payments, and receipts stay attached to the job that produced them. I can review the chain before sending an invoice.
